Tyler Theriot son of Alan Theriot of the Baton Rouge area took this nice 8 point for his first buck on opening morning of the 2003 youth weekend in Claiborne County. Tyler was hunting with his dad (former hunter, but now 2nd rate guide) on this hunt. His dad Alan seems to have no problem getting a deer for his friends or kids, but seems to fall short of taking one for himself. Maybe his luck will change later during the year. He even tried being 15 or under for the youth hunt with no luck.
